Naf Naf Grill is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to add to our growing team at our Support Center (corporate office) in Chicago, IL. This person will be the primary contact for invoice processing, employee reimbursements, vendor communication, and the proper review and coding of invoices and expense reports. The AP Specialist will work under the supervision of our Accounts Payable Manager.

Duties:
Maintain vendor database, including requisition of W-9s
Process invoices, credit memos, utility bills, expense reports and other payment requisitions
Analyze and reconcile vendor statements on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis
Resolve invoice discrepancies and correspond with vendors
Ensure all disbursements are property authorized, invoices are paid timely and expenses are coded correctly and in compliance with established policies
Provide support for audits
Process mail and perform other general office duties
Other projects and tasks as assigned as well as, but not limited to, following all Company policies and procedures
The ideal candidate will have:
A high school diploma (at minimum) concurrent with 2 years of accounts payable experience
An Associate?s or Bachelor?s degree (preferred)
General knowledge of debit/credit journal entries
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Practiced organization skills
Acute attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment with minimal supervision
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to provide the appropriate documentation to prove U.S. work eligibility
Ability to perform all essential functions of the position
Ability to read, speak, and write English
Reliable transportation to and from our office in Chicago (River North)
