Regional Sales Representative Job Opening in Atlanta, Georgia - Regional Outside Sales- Ankem Products Manufacturing
Ankem is seeking an Outside Sales Representative who will sell various cleaning chemicals to the ready mix concrete, asphalt yards, rental co's and trucking companies. Our Representative will work to maintain and increase sales in Georgia, Alabama, and the South Carolina region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing contact with some existing customers, identifying new opportunities, and following up on potential leads. Travel is required, including overnight.
Responsibilities
· Utilize all available resources to reach out to prospects and attempt to turn those prospects into customers
· Collaborate with the management team to improve marketing materials and expand the company?s marketing presence in the territory
· Attend industry trade shows and association meetings to accumulate new leads and make productive contact with existing clients
· Update client information and develop a prospectus
· Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth
· Follow-up on all generated quotations to assure that the customer is being serviced and to document the outcome of the proposed solution
· Make personal sales calls at customer sites on a regular basis
· Complete sales calls and expense reports on a timely basis in accordance with company policy
· Execute sales efforts in an ethical and professional manner, assuring a favorable impression of self and the company
Qualifications
· 1-5 years of outside sales
· Experience in the following is preferred but not required:
- Business to Business sales
- Knowledge of the construction industry
- Experience selling materials or textiles
· Must be willing to travel
· Self-motivated and comfortable working with little to no direction
· Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Compensation & Benefits
· This position is full-time salaried
· Starter package of $50,000 annually, car allowance, plus commission and an opportunity to grow your income exponentially
· Benefits offered include Medical, Life
· Per-diem, gas, and lodging expenses included
Additional Information:
· Work out of your own home office
· Two weeks paid training at the corporate office in Dallas, TX
