The Position
FarWide seeks a motivated and experienced project manager to join our growing team. The position is responsible for managing operations on one or more software development projects. This will involve detailed planning, coordination of internal and external resources, and seamless communication with all project stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-schedule and according to objectives.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation to keep team abreast of progress.
Develop project scopes and objectives according to business goals, input from team, technical feasibility, and resource availability.
Ensure all available resources, internal and external, are effectively and efficiently utilized throughout the project.
Develop a detailed project plan to track progress and use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope and schedule.
Report and escalate to management as necessary.
Maintain positive working relationships with third parties/vendors
Qualifications
Exceptional communication skills: keep internal and external team members informed and engaged at all times.
Attention to detail: thoroughness in the planning, executing, and documentation of all work.
3-5 years of agile project management experience, ideally in a software context. PMP certification is a plus.
Desire to work on a small and growing team: shaping company culture, establishing best practices, and taking on additional responsibilities as needed,
An interest in hunting, fishing, and/or outdoor recreation is a plus.
