Seeking an Awesome PT Team Manager for a Fun and Hip Marketing Company Job Opening in shreveport, Louisiana - Seeking an Awesome PT Team Manager for a Fun and Hip Marketing Company We are looking for a passionate marketing, promotional and event professional with great management skills to join our team as a PT Team Manager for the Shreveport/East Texas area. The ideal candidate will have a strong marketing background, extensive contacts and experience in the Shreveport/East Texas market, a vast social network, and knowledge of promotional opportunities and events throughout the region. In addition to market knowledge, candidate must be able to manage teams of Brand Ambassadors well while also meeting budgets and administrative deadlines. Responsibilities include: * Working a part time job (15 hours per week); this may include working many events on evenings, weekends and holidays. * Managing event teams in the Shreveport/East Texas areas. * Recruiting, hiring, coaching and staffing street team events in all areas of the Shreveport/East Texas territory. * Matching your field team to the product for best product representation. * Attend all necessary marketing meetings in client?s office; these can vary from one to two days a week. * Working on-site at client?s location of business, at events and in your home. * Managing a complete event schedule provided by client and adding events to this schedule that you research and manage. * Creating concepts/ideas to drive customers to client stores. * Research and Development of unique events and ideas for client to execute to increase sales. Qualifications: * A minimum of one to two years of event marketing experience, managing, organizing and executing small and medium sized events. * Complete computer skills. Microsoft Office is a must-PPT, Word, Excel. * Human Resource/Staffing experience is a plus, must be able to manage multiple people in multiple locations. * Have good ?systems? for organizing your time. * Prepare monthly pre-plans, prep for events, site checks, maintain online calendar of events and more. * Maintain budgets including compensation of all Brand Ambassadors, hour allocation and more. * Associate may be responsible for driving and maintaining a promotional vehicle; or managing leads to drive the promotional vehicle. Must have an excellent driving record. * Associate will also be responsible for overseeing storage facility; housing event games and other promotional collateral. Associate will be responsible for an inventory of merchandise and will submit inventory reports monthly. * You must be an ?on your feet? thinker who likes the challenges of event marketing and is ready for ANYTHING TO HAPPEN. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Bi-Lingual is a PLUS! * Exceptional organizational qualities to lead multiple projects as you will be managing teams in large geographic areas. * Extreme flexibility throughout the week. Transportation: You will need your own transportation; larger vehicles/trucks are a plus. In-home office: Company will provide you with office supplies for your in-home office; however you will also be required to work out of the Regional offices (based in Shreveport) as needed for client 1-2 days per week. Compensation: This is a contract that will run through 6/1-12/31/11. Compensation is $1250 per month plus potential performance bonuses. Approved overage hours will be paid accordingly. Monthly Expenses are covered by company/client at $60 for cell phone and internet reimbursement.
