Lighting Project Surveyor Job Opening in Boston, Massachusetts - The Lighting Project Surveyor will perform lighting and electrical surveys of Retail, Industrial, Commercial and Healthcare location as necessary for the purpose of documenting existing conditions as it relates to lighting, lighting controls and general electrical systems. The Lighting Project Surveyor will have overall accountability for planning trips, properly documenting survey results, survey accuracy, overall quality and adherence to schedule and budgets. The Lighting Project Surveyor will conduct national and international surveys and should expect 90% travel in this role. This position may also include some off-shift work.

Responsibilities
Learn survey process and work with sales to outline and define survey scope requirements
Prepare detailed survey reports summarizing survey results using provided templates
Provide high level of communication between EMC Customer and EMC Sales and Project Management teams
Travel to the job sites
Scheduling and coordination of survey trips
Maintain accurate account of survey schedules/status in master Operations Team spreadsheets
Attend training programs as required
Assist in quotation, proposal and bid preparation
Skills/Requirements
Excellent organizational skills
Attention to detail, high degree of accuracy
Ability to work independently and manage your time
Problem solver
Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication
Knowledge of electrical products preferred, but not required
Knowledge of lighting controls preferred, but not required

0-3 years of Industry experience
Bachelor Degree preferred
Electrical Engineering degree or Lighting/Electrical Industry experience a plus, but not required
