Job Description ?
The medical modeling, simulation, and analysis program develops software solutions for modeling and simulation (M&S) tools used in DoD medical planning following AS9100/ISO9001 and CMMI Maturity Level 3 guidelines. Candidate is expected to provide quality assurance support for the program. Candidate is to review and revise, as necessary, the program?s quality procedures, standards, and specifications. Candidate is to ensure compliance with existing quality management system, assist in maintaining the program?s CMMI Maturity Level 3 competency, and support internal and external quality and CMMI audits.
The candidate is responsible for testing and evaluating software to ensure the software performs correctly for its intended use. The responsibilities include but are not limited to: reviewing software requirements, preparing/reviewing test cases, preparing/reviewing test procedures, conducting software test and data analysis, evaluating test results, reporting software defects, and generating test reports.
Job Requirements ? The candidate should have a BS Degree in Engineering or Computer Science with 5 plus years of software test experience at the unit, integration, and system test levels. The candidate should have comprehensive experience performing analysis, design, and test. The candidate must have experience with developing Test Plans, Test Procedures, and Test Reports.
The candidate must have or qualify for a DoD security clearance.
Skills Requirements ?
Candidate should be a fast learner who can quickly ascertain the expected software functionality and utilize this knowledge to develop a comprehensive testing approach.
Requires excellent troubleshooting and critical thinking skills with an ability to independently analyze configurations and system behaviors via output data and/or review of applicable software source code.
Candidate should possess the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced testing environment, while working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
Requires strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly describe issues to both the software development team and technical leadership.
Candidate should possess the ability to complete tasks on time and in compliance with AS9100 and CMMI level
Experience testing Windows-based, stand-alone applications and web-based applications are preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Gurock TestRail also preferred.
Education Requirements: BS in Engineering or Computer Science.
