Project Management Manager Job Opening in Montgomery, Alabama - Evanhoe & Associates, Inc., headquartered in Dayton, Ohio, is a dynamic service-disabled, veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB) with contracts in multiple states. We are a full-service Information Technology (IT) Solutions Provider and Systems Integrator delivering value-added solutions, including software development and sustainment, program & project management, systems engineering, enterprise architecture, automatic identification technology (AIT), business intelligence, information assurance, cyber security, managed IT services and remote system monitoring, help desk, field services and business process re-engineering. We currently seek candidates for the position of Project Management Manager in our Montgomery, AL location.
Manages and directs the work of a project team. Has overall responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, internal staffing and outside vendors, and contractual deliverables. Leads complex projects and guides the work of subordinates. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met, adhering to approved budgets. Develops and contributes extensive knowledge of department processes to achieve goals. Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. Coordinates all project facets and ensures company resources are utilized appropriately. Compiles project status reports, coordinates project schedules, manages project meetings, and identifies and resolves technical problems. Identifies and analyzes systems requirements and defines project scope, requirements, and deliverables. Coordinates project activities and ensures all project phases are documented appropriately. Contributes to any aspect of a project as needed. Reports to PMO Director. PMP project management certification strongly preferred. Bachelor's degree required. Requires 5 years? experience in the related area, e.g. managing electronic component installation projects, managing field engineering/service work force, etc. 1 to 3 years general supervisory experience required.
