Job Title: Staff Accountant
We're looking for a mathmagician to join our Hot Spring Spas of Music City/Hot Spring Spas of the Upper Cumberland team as our in-house Accountant. You must have high integrity, love accounting, be great with numbers, spreadsheets, accounting systems like Evosus Point of Sale, and possess a "Getting Things Done" attitude. You must also possess a current CPA license.
Your Key Responsibilities would include:
Perform monthly account reconciliations
Research and resolve vendor disputes
AR, AP & GL
Perform period, quarterly, and annual financial closings
Taxes
Work with department heads to generate and stick to budgets
Analyze monthly financial data and bring recommendations to Co-Owners
Comptroller - Monthly 10% Inventory & Reconcile overages/shortages
Continual workflow and process improvements
Anything else related to finance and accounting
Experience and Qualifications
Must be a CPA
Experience with Evosus Point of Sale not required, but preferred
Solid experience with MS Office Suite and G Suite (formerly Google Apps)
Please Note: As our only Accountant, you will be the sole person responsible for all things related to finance. This means rolling up your sleeves to accomplish the nitty gritty ... to standing back and provide guidance, budgeting, and financial leadership. You'll need to be both in the weeds and soaring high into the future with our Co-Owners and management team. No job will be too small or too large for you.
