SUMMARY:
Supports the deduction management process by researching and responding to vendor inquiries and disputes.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Corresponds with the supplier/vendor for any question or explanation required; may facilitate the resolution of major supplier/vendor issues for a favorable outcome; may engage in discussions with supplier/vendor regarding the audit and dispute resolution process.
Reviews client information including contracts, invoices, purchase orders, shipping documents, and other documentation to verify validate deductions taken.
Examines electronic data and paper data for supporting documentation to support deductions and supply this documentation to vendors as needed.
Able to perform in a workflow driven environment, completing assigned workload in appropriate time frames.
Able to communicate professionally in writing or on the phone to assist vendor/suppliers in resolving deduction disputes.
WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prefer 4+ years of experience in an office environment, preferably auditing related.
Prior experience in accounts payable a plus
Experience with MS Access and/or Excel a plus
