Cloud IT internship Job Opening in San Diego, California - We are a small IT company looking to grow! Currently seeking an IT intern. The internship will be a paid part time position ,approximately 30 hours per week for the first 3 months.
This position requires the following responsibilities and requirements :
Responsible for the execution and implementation of projects
Get trained and execute projects on Service now platform
Understand and produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
Collaborate effectively with other team members to develop solutions and handle general updates and configuration changes/requests
Integrate software components into Service now platform
Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
Document and maintain desired functionality
Maintenance and continuous improvement of the processes, standards, policies, working methods, and tools
Tailor and deploy software tools, processes and metrics
Comply with project plans and industry standards
Requirements
Applicant must be a U.S citizen and need no sponsorships
Proven 0-1 years? prior work experience in I.T industry as a computer software engineer or software developer or any other profile
Prior knowledge of ITIL and Service now is helpful
Willingness to learn Service now and become an expert
Hands on experience in designing and implementing effective solutions for clients
Excellent scripting knowledge using JavaScript
Experience in software development using Java, C, C++ and/or other selected languages
Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
Knowledge of developing web applications
Experience with test-driven development
Mastery in software engineering tools
Ability to document requirements and specifications
Familiarity with software development methodology and release processes
Pursuing BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering
