Sales Manager in Training Job Opening in Victor, Iowa - 11 year old established web business in the packaging industry is seeking seasoned sales manager or administrative oriented person to help continue sales growth. Responsibilities include but are not limited to maintaining effective operation and continued growth of Sales with the direction of the owner. Provide leadership, direction, and effective tools to assure growth and competence to business. Will be proficient with QuickBooks Manufacturing and Wholesale, Excel, and conduct customer service, order processing, sales calls, and keep tasks in the office organized to help the operation run smoothly. There is a very high level of multi-tasking, and follow up. Will cross reference many charts / software so keyboarding shortcuts and computer efficiency is essential and not optional. Basic math is used often, and the ability to gauge customer charges as correct is important. This position has an extreme need for attention to detail, and candidate must like doing a good job, and being thorough so as to not have to rework their tasks. Will keep owner updated on daily workload, upcoming sales information, and work on projects as assigned. This position rarely has travel other than to occasional networking events or possible continuing education seminars.
We are in a very rural area, and so new hire would be asked to relocate if not already living in the area. Work is on site, and not available for remote work.
