$45,000 - $48,000 (DOE) salary/commission
Utilizing a Direct Store Delivery (DSD) model, Cold Front Distribution receives premium frozen food products from major manufacturers. These products are then delivered directly off our fleet of trucks to grocery stores, convenience stores and food service accounts throughout our marketing area.
We are looking for highly motivated people to become DSD Route Sales Representatives for the Des Moines, IA area to order, deliver and merchandise frozen food and ice cream products at retail grocery accounts and convenience stores. Essential Duties include but not limited to driving a company truck (CDL required) to all assigned routes and ensure accurate product deliveries to all retail accounts. You must meet all DOT drug and alcohol and medical certification requirements. Knowledge of DSD, retail food business practices, and operation of hand held experience a PLUS but not required. Environment varies while driving a company vehicle, delivering, moving or lifting product up 50lbs.
Qualified candidates must pass background check, pre-employment physical, drug screening and have a satisfactory MVR.
Starting pay is $45,000 - $48,000 (DOE) paid on a bi-weekly basis then move to commission after completion of 4 ? 6 week training period.
Company benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K, sick and vacation time. Most of these benefits start after 60 days of employment (1st day of the following month).
