Junior Data Analyst Job Opening in New York, New york - Responsibilities:
- Assisting with data collection for reporting on: marketing, sales, and merchandising
- Assisting with building systems of analysis and reporting
- Ad hoc analysis
- Taking on varied and fast-moving analysis projects that involve many different aspects of the business
Ideal candidate:
- 2 years data analysis experience, preferably in the retail sector
- Advanced Excel, including: PivotTables, VLookup, SumIf/CountIf and nested If statements, conditional formatting, macros.
- Some VBA knowledge a plus
- Proficient in MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Effective at multi-tasking
- Very organized
- Adaptable, resourceful, and personable
- Familiarity with basic financial and accounting concepts
