Buisness Analyst with .NET Experience Job Opening in galveston, Texas - Buisness Analyst with Experience I am looking for a Buisness Analyst with experience in the fuel trading industry. You must have both . NET and fuel trading experience. This is a 6 month contract to hire position in Houston. You must be here in Houston. Essential Duties: * Gather and document business requirements. * Create and maintain functional specifications. * Work with developers to implement solutions that meet business requirements. * Work with end users and developers to perform unit, system, and regression testing. * Develop and conduct end user training for Oracle applications. * Create and maintain project and system documentation per standard. Essential: * College degree in Business, MIS, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent). * Highly motivated self-starter. * Schedule/deadline oriented. * Excellent English language verbal and written communication skills. * Strong team player with the interpersonal skills to work effectively with end-users and co-workers. * Must have experience as a Business Analyst software development companies. Desirable: * Fuel trading and commodity trading industry * Risk Management * Leading trading systems like Amphora Symphony ( ) * Downstream petroleum industry, fuel management, fuel purchasing, fuel supply management and distribution * Petroman ( ) * A former developer or a technical person would be a plus.
