Inside Sales Representative Job Opening in Mobile, Alabama - Birmingham Fastener & Supply, Inc. (BF) ? Mobile, AL Division
Birmingham Fastener is a leading manufacturer and distributor of fasteners for structural steel fabrication, metal building manufacturers, transportation, water works and utilities, original equipment manufacturers, construction, MRO and more. We manufacture custom and non-standard fasteners and operate the highest volume distribution center of nuts and bolts and standard fasteners in the U.S. This diversity provides our customers with a strategic advantage; certified quality, superior service and fast delivery.
Responsibilities:
Communicate effectively with customers to provide Exceptional Customer Care.
Maintain an understanding of BF capabilities and work with manufacturing division, when necessary, to serve the customer as a ?one-stop? source.
Perform timely quote follow-ups, working with other BF team members during negotiations to review quotes and make necessary adjustments with the goal of winning the business.
Understand basic fastener terminology and communicate with others to remove hurdles and win new business.
Provide support to other BF team members to assist in winning new business.
Review customer orders and ensure that their written expectations match our quoted offer.
Work closely with and assist engineers, estimators, and other BF team members to compile offers that meet the customer?s needs as well as BF profit goals.
Track ongoing projects and work to turn them into an order that meets BF profit goals.
Build strong customer relationships
Experience Requirements:
2-3 years experience or training in industrial wholesale distribution; preferably in the metal fastener industry
2-3 years of inside sales experience
