Regional Sales Manager Job Opening in Seattle, Washington - Fish Brewing and Washington Wine have an immediate opening for a Pacific Northwest Territory Sales Manager. The Sales Manager's primary role is to grow the company sales by soliciting, building, and maintaining a professional sales relationships with multiple distributors, and retail accounts, while overseeing a team of Market Manager's. The Sales Manager will also have the responsibility of acting as marketing manager in some outlying areas. The Pacific Northwest Sales Manager territory includes Idaho Region.
The Sales Manager reports to the Executive Vice President and is responsible for the management and oversight of all sales operations of all our products sold in their respective territories. The position is based in the Greater Seattle area The successful candidate must maintain a home office but will be required to frequently travel within the territory and to the company headquarters in Olympia, WA.

Specific duties include:
Support Fish Brewing Co's and Washington Wine's Vision, Mission, and Values
Represent our brands in the market to increase distribution and sales
Communicate with Market Managers on a daily basis to review accomplishments and daily assignments
Assist in the execution of sale hits by reporting weekly to distributors and regular follow-ups.
Prepare and analyze VIP reports for execution and results in the territory
Prepare semi-monthly incentive based payroll reports.
Monitor Distributor inventories and correct as required.
Manage and oversee all retail promotions within the Territory including the coordination of Distributor and Market Managers activities. Work with supervisor to develop territory budget, create projections, and manage within parameters to ensure targeted profitability
Prepare and present monthly sales meetings
Schedule and participate in crew drives or ride-along activities with key wholesaler personnel
Make retail account visitations within existing and potential accounts to build or enhance relationship between retailers and Fish Brewing
Ride with and develop each Market Manager's, multiple times per month, to increase distribution and sales in all areas in the Pacific Northwest
Identify and participate in special events within market area to represent the Fish Brewing Co. and Washington Wine's product portfolio of brands: Beer Festivals, Beer Weeks, Winemaker dinners, etc.
Conduct monthly / quarterly reviews with wholesalers within identified sales area
Assist Executive Vice President in Annual Business Planning for each distributor and execute each Annual Business Plan
Other duties as assigned by Management
Position Requirements:
At least 5 years of sales management experience; ideally in the beverage industry
Previous experience in the Brewery/Beverage Industry.
Excellent communications skills (i.e. presentation, interpersonal, written, etc.) are essential.
Strong computer skills including knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite
Strong analytical skills in interpreting depletion data. Knowledge in VIP and Karma is a plus.
A driver's license and clean driver's record is crucial.
Must be able to travel and work flexible hours/days.
The pay for this position will be between $50K - $60K, which will include a base salary and pay for performance objectives, and a car allowance.
