Development Support engineer Job Opening in Paramus, New jersey - RADCOM is looking for a Development support engineer .
Development Support Engineer is an exciting position combining advanced development activity with customer facing engagement. This is a key role in a dynamic environment requiring a versatile skill set, familiarity with multiple development environments, service orientation and understanding of user applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot lower-tier software issues; provide root cause analysis
On-the-spot ad-hoc application component problem-solving: repair and improve code, minimize escalation to R&D
Interface with international customer support and R&D teams, adjusting service to local culture/environment
Required:
BSc in Computer Science or Engineering (or similar)
Min 2-3 years C, C++ software dev, pref. in Linux
Min 2 years software support or SW engineer experience
Advanced networking/systems expertise incl. Linux (CentOS), Unix, servers, and storage
4G and IMS core familiarity
Customer support orientation; excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Experience:
International experience
Network Function Virtualization (NFV) incl. VMWare, Open Stack
Database/analytics
VoIP, SIP, RTP, Diameter, GTP, IP, DNS, HTTP
