Electrical Sales Associate Job Opening in Marlborough, Massachusetts - Our company is looking to hire an experienced Electrical Equipment Sales Representative for the Boston Market. The individual will be responsible for growing market share through the development of strong relationships with a client base of electrical contractors, consulting engineers, and end users. This position will report directly to the Director of Sales based out of our Marlborough, MA office.
Responsibilities include:
Creating and maintaining relationships with existing and potential new customers.
Interpreting technical specifications and drawings.
Preparing quotations.
Conducting presentations, seminars, and training for consulting engineers, electrical contractors, and end users.
Maintaining CRM database, internal paperwork, reports, and expense reports.
Traveling to customer sites for prospecting, sales calls, presentations, and assist in the proper sizing and implementation of power generation equipment.
Interaction with customers, suppliers, management, and internal staff in a professional manner.
Experience and Skills
4 year degree and/or adequate technical and sales experience.
5 years outside sales experience with knowledge of the bid-spec market (preferred).
Ability to identify and qualify customer needs, develop sales strategies, negotiate and close profitable projects.
Strong organization and planning skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and CRM.
A team player with the ability to interact with others inside and outside the organization on all levels.
A self-starter with exceptional drive.
