Corporate Controller Job Opening in Glendale Heights, Illinois - Key Responsibilities
Align with the CFO in overseeing all of the financial aspects of the business
Manage the General Ledger including the preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements
Lead the monthly closing process by ensuring that all revenue and expenses are properly accounted for in the appropriate periods
Ensure proper and accurate closing of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
Prepare monthly financial statements and monthly business unit reporting package
Review and explain variances and partner with business unit leadership to lead the operations review
Complete account analysis and account reconciliations
Prepare monthly P&L forecasts
Manage and forecast cash flow / debt reduction on a weekly basis
Lead the preparation of Year-End Financial Statements; coordinate and work closely with the external auditors to complete the annual audit, including the preparation of audit schedules
Prepare information for partner bank, including covenant calculations; work closely with bankers on both the credit side and treasury management
Lead the process of preparing the annual budgets for the consolidated business unit and all defined cost centers
Oversee the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll functions
Monitor and analyze inventory reporting and ensures accuracy of inventory valuation
Manage fixed asset activity including capital expenditure requests, justification analysis and post-purchase review
Partner with operations leadership to increase efficiency and profitability through development and use of KPIs
Provide support to department managers in costing analysis which includes labor, material cost and overhead
Enforce the company?s Accounting and Financial policies and procedures; develop additional policies and procedures, as necessary
Assist CFO with annual renewal of insurance programs
Work with the CFO in preparation of reporting required for board meetings
Compile information necessary in the preparation of the annual income tax return as well as quarterly estimated tax payments
Complete other assignments as requested

Salary: $100,000.00 to $110,000.00 /year
