Administrative Assistant Job Opening in New York, New york - Family Owned Hardware Store in downtown Manhattan is seeking an Administrative Assistant. Candidate should be motivated, hardworking, punctual, and organized. We work with a couple of hundred different accounts, between customers and vendors and all paperwork should be properly organized and filed. Workplace is a fast paced environment so candidate should be able to keep up with the pace.
Candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to;
Organizing paperwork, such as billing from vendors and customers.
Organizing a payment calendar
Contacting and collecting payment from customers
Answering phones
Directly assisting all accounting department needs
Working with vice president of the company as an assistant
Maintaining a daily calendar
Maintaining social media accounts and presence, if candidate has SEO experience it is a plus
