Revive Kombucha is seeking a customer service aficionado to join our growing NY Sales and Marketing team as the new Direct Sales Distribution Representative (DSD). The DSD Representative provides high level customer service to Revive Kombucha?s direct sales accounts while directly delivering product as ordered. In addition, the DSD Representative will represent Revive Kombucha at sales and marketing events and therefore must be available for occasional weekends and evenings.
The DSD Representative will work out of a company van and their own home office, based in the New York City area. This position reports to the Territory and Sales Manager - North East.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
Possess a valid driver?s license.
Experience driving delivery vans in NY or other metropolitan areas.
Prior customer service experience required.
Distribution experience a plus.
Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
Proficient in Cloud based computing, Google Apps, MS Excel and MS Word.
Food and beverage or natural products industry experience preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive company delivery van to acquire product from the warehouse and deliver to accounts throughout New York City and surrounding areas.
Perform proactive route planning and logistics.
Stock and rotate products for accounts.
Create and send timely and accurate invoices.
Build strong relationships with accounts by providing consistent, excellent customer service.
Deliver kombucha to marketing and sales events and to marketing partners.
Represent the company at events by pouring kombucha and engaging with event participants.
Participate in company meetings as required.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Routinely sit in a vehicle for long periods of time.
Occasionally stand for long periods of time.
Walk for short periods of time.
Frequently lifting with hands and arms and frequently lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
Occasionally lifting and carrying up to 80 lbs.
Frequent bending and stooping.
Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation.
Occasional use of ladders.
Work in a wet and cold environments.
