Skills:
Deep understanding of statistics and machine learning algorithms, experience working with large datasets, and an ability to communicate actionable insights directly to non-technical audiences.
Work closely with Product Owners and Development to ensure the appropriate architecture is in place to operationalize the models
Develop classification models using statistical languages such R or Python
Well versed in R or equivalent statistical language such as SAS or Python
Develop text analytics solutions leveraging Vowpal Wabbit
Excellent data visualization skills leveraging statistical language
Experience with unstructured text mining techniques such as bag of words, TF-IDF, Named Entity Recognition, Sentiment Analysis, Language Detection, Word2vec, etc.
Ability to explain key drivers of model, model performance and other attributes of Machine Learning to non-technical and technical audience
Understanding of agile software development and instill best practices into the process
Familiar with Audit/Assurance practices within the Big 4
Background or experience in software development (C#, SQL)
Experience with AzureML
