HR Generalist Job Opening in Secaucus, New jersey - Riverside Medical Group is looking for an enthusiastic Human Resources (HR) Generalist . The Director of Human Resources will depend on your assistance in a number of important functions such as hiring/recruiting, employment related paperwork, benefits administration, training/record keeping, leaves of absence, government reporting, employee relations, etc.
Responsibilities for the HR Generalist include but are not limited to:
Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
Conduct employee on-boarding and help plan training & development
Provide support to employees in various HR related topics such as leaves, compensation etc. and resolve issues and problems
Facilitate open enrollment and communicate to employees the benefit programs including medical, dental, vision and FSA.
Respond to employee questions and concerns regarding employee benefit plans.
Communicate various human resources policies, procedures and standards.
Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics
Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
Process and maintain all personnel records related to new hires, employee reviews, terminations.

Knowledge, Education, Skills Required:
2 plus years of proven experience as HR Generalist (Previous Human Resource experience in Healthcare setting preferred)
Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g. ADP) will be a plus
Excellent communication and people skills
Aptitude in problem-solving
Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field
Additional HR training will be a plus
SHRM Certification is a Plus
Must be proficient at multi-tasking and prioritization working in a high volume environment with little supervision.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Excellent analytical and deduction skills.
Good reasoning and problem solving ability and be able to take initiative in finding solutions to difficult and/or sensitive problems.
Must be organized and able to multi-task.
Ability to work in stressful situations
Demonstrated proficiency and comfort with PC and Microsoft office skills, especially Excel.
Bilingual Spanish-speaking (preferred)
