Accounting Job Opening in Elk Grove Village, Illinois - Small Growing Elk Grove Village manufacturing firm seeks Accounting teammate
This new full time teammate will take initiative and have outstanding administrative, organizational and time management skills. The right candidate will have previous accounting experience. This position is responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, sales quoting, payroll and inventory control. We are looking for a dedicated and motivated individual who can offer experience to a small company, someone who communicates positively and effectively, performs with a high degree of accuracy, and meets challenges with an enthusiastic, optimistic attitude.
Strong figure aptitude, ability to calculate figures and amounts.
Strong calculator and computer skills including Excel.
Detail oriented, organized and able to meet deadlines.
Problem solving abilities.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
Ability to work as a member in a team-oriented environment.
Perform responsibilities as directed achieving desired results within expected time frames and with a high degree of quality and professionalism.
Strong commitment to exceptional customer service
Job Requirements: - 1-2 years of work experience; Some college coursework completed preferably in accounting; Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook; Available for immediate start
