Finance Manager Job Opening in Lisle, Illinois - POSITION SUMMARY
As part of the Finance team, the Finance Manager will support Finance and Operations by providing periodic and ad hoc financial analysis while helping facilitate the Division?s annual planning process, capital approval and expenditure process, fixed asset process and capital investments. The Finance Manager supports the company goals by focusing on personal accountability, customer service and work efficiency.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Provides management with planning and control information by assembling and analyzing financial data; developing and maintaining financial models; providing forecasts; explaining processes and techniques; recommending actions; providing information on results against targets.
Establishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements; developing a site-level annual operating budget.
Evaluates projected financial results of undertaking new projects by analyzing capital expenditure proposals; recommending courses of action.
Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and results. Interpret and explain results to Management.
Ensures compliance with requirements, policies and regulations by enforcing adherence to corporate systems, policies and governmental regulations; advising management on needed actions. Ensure that internal controls are in place to safeguard assets.
Complies with federal, state and local legal requirements by studying and reviewing existing and new laws; auditing and enforcing adherence to requirements; rendering opinions; advising management on needed actions.
Forecasts return on investment results; assists in preparation, monitoring and deployment of capital expenditure budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances including post implementation reviews; initiating corrective action.
Prepares Weekly Sales, Fuel and Expense monitoring reports.
Produce preliminary financial data for AFEs, assign AFE numbers, monitor capital spending and perform post profitability analysis on investment projects > $50k.
Identify and research cost variances prior to close of period.
Compile Financial Scorecard, Period and YTD.
Compile Business Review and Market Summary.
Assist with compilation of Quarterly reporting requirements.
Provide analytical support for Marketing Department as needed.
Provide support for all Benchmarking projects.
Provide analytical support for acquisition asset valuations.
To properly perform the duties of this position as outlined above, it is essential that the individual be able to meet the following physical demands:
Ability to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time & operate computer keyboard for data entry.
Ability to position self to maintain work space and files including under the desk.
Ability to communicate to and with coworkers, directors and shared services team in a manner consistent with business needs. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
Ability to observe computer screen accurately for data entry.
Ability to use fax machines and copiers.
Ability to exchange information for support for telephone communications. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
Ability to work under tight deadlines, interruptions, and stressful situations.

REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Works well independently and in team settings
Possess intermediate skillset in Microsoft Office Word and Power Point
Possess advanced skillset in Microsoft Office Excel
Strong communication skills to read, listen, understand and communicate information and ideas in a clear and understandable manner, both orally and in writing
Ability to process information including gathering, assessing, organizing, auditing and verifying data
Working Conditions: Normal office environment with little or no exposure to adverse working conditions. Work may occasionally include long hours, week-ends, and holidays.
