What you?ll do
Zoomi?s platform is deployed in the Amazon Cloud (AWS). This position is for an engineer to join our team to work on our Web UIs. We make extensive use of JavaScript with a Python backend. Much of our UI work goes beyond presentation to make extensive use of JavaScript and DOM events to perform data collection. We have incredible capabilities that users can only experience via our Web UIs so we need your help to make them tools that users can't wait to explore!
Responsibilities:
Collaborate on UX design.
Create attractive, well performing, interactive Web UIs that display Zoomi's products in the best light possible.
Participate in SCRUM/Agile standups and grooming, including helping to define and estimate resource requirements for stories and tasks.
Help to design and develop the Zoomi platform, performing the tasks as defined in SCRUM planning.
Adhere to good coding and test practices as defined by the development, QA, and DevOps leads.
Provide technical documentation to help engineers understand the platform and to facilitate modifications and maintenance.
What your resume should have:
2+ years with JavaScript
2+ years Linux experience
You are familiar with some of the following JavaScript frameworks/tools; nodejs, coffeescript, react, gulp, es6/babel, webpack.
Experience accessing REST APIs
You'll have a big leg up if:
You have relevant experience with multi-tier, big data platforms.
You have experience working on AWS deployed platforms.
