The Network Technician works with other technicians and engineers to deal mostly with reactive items - it's much more than "help desk" as each tech develops relationships with their clients, receives a lot of training, has a ton of resources around them, answers questions for clients, deals with problems, and helps ensure we deliver a fantastic client experience.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
* Working alongside other committed professionals to provide reactive services to our clients (over 100 organizations -- businesses, nonprofits, schools, and municipalities) * Solving issues as they come in, across the entire technology stack, including; Desktop, printers, E-mail, Server, Line of Business applications, VPN?s, etc.
* Escalating complex issues to the Engineering group
* Wipe and reloading of individual PC?s are generally done by our Desktop group * Answering client questions, assisting them with their technology * Working in a ticketing system and resolving issues ranging in complexity * Complexity based on experience - flexibility in the job with room to grow

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED
* Strong interpersonal skills: enjoy relating with staff & clients. * Solid problem-solving skills: be able to take a challenge and break it down. * Experience in the IT field - must have direct IT experience. * Experience with computers, software, and networks. * Some formal education preferred but not required with experience -- associates, bachelors, and/or certifications. * Experience with multiple environments preferred (i.e., more than one network). * Exceptional skill at troubleshooting Windows computers and environments. * Committed professionalism: showing up on time, working hard, and no office politics! LOCATION SPECIFICS
We have offices in Belmont and Manchester, NH. This position can work out of either office with some flexibility to work from home after 1 year. There is some, but limited, reimbursed travel to clients (all within easy driving distance).
SALARY & BENEFITS
This is a full time, salaried position with a full benefits package, including 75% of medical costs covered for the entire family. Training is provided and the experience gained is very significant.
