Angular Developer
What You'll Do
Here at Emerson, we are building an internal SME team of Angular Developers to create innovative, new, eCommerce solutions to change the way people manage their health & wellness. We are looking for people who have extreme passion for engineering, and are eager to change the way the world stays healthy!
The Angular Software Developer will develop & support new and existing applications on the AngularJS platform for our new eCommrce applications
Supporting and enhancing existing UI for the eCommerce Platform in collaboration with cross functional teams
Be a product-oriented Web Developer creating and experimenting with new ideas that will engage and excite our customers
Work closely with Product Owners, Analysts and QA in an Agile environment to ensure quality, security and maintenance of web application, and to ensure code meets development standards and guidelines
Participate in UI/UX testing with designers and in collaboration with the Business Analysts
Use of asynchronous data send and retrieval patterns to develop rich in-browser user interfaces
Designing API layers for cross-application communication
Optimize the back-end software for speed and scalability
Work with common third-party APIs (Google, STRIPE, etc.)
Apply problem solving techniques to design database changes
Experience using Agile methodologies and tools such as Scrum and JIRA
Required Experience
Who you are
You are an experienced software developer/engineer with over 8+ years development of web based applications
AngularJS development for the past 4+ years within a professional setting; through this experience, you would be our Angular SME
Scalable web applications are something you are comfortable developing
You have a lot of experience in front-end development with: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery
Ideally, you have a strong grasp of security principles and e-commerce applications
You have a proficient understanding of SVN and Git and deep expertise with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc)
