Inside Sales Executive Federal Govt Services Job Opening in Virginia Beach, Virginia - The Business Development Executive - Federal Services position performs tasks essential for the identification, qualification, and capture of new business opportunities within the Federal Agencies Sector to include, but not limited to, Health and Human Services, Social Security Administration and the Department of Labor. The primary focus will be on Healthcare and IT Services, Document and Content Management, Records Management, and Document Imaging lines of business. The selected candidate will be driven to succeed and responsible for translating customer needs into specific requirements, company services and solutions into campaigns, and managing campaigns to effectively market the DOMA products and capabilities to meet those needs. The Business Development Executive position will oversee the Business Acquisition Process that includes steps to develop and execute growth strategies, identify new business opportunities, establish pursuit priorities and develop successful capture plans.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Sales
Leverage existing relationships with Government business leaders and decision makers.
Competitively position DOMA for successful capture.
Develop and deliver targeted presentations to prospective and current customers as well as potential partners.
Identify new business opportunities
Establish pursuit priorities and develop successful capture plans
Generate leads and qualified prospecting through various marketing and direct selling techniques.
Respond to formal and informal requests for proposals for target market area.
Leverage DOMA value in customer contract negotiation and pricing.
Customer Relations
Establish and build long-term business relationships resulting in completed sales.
Develop background and information on prospects and customer needs.
Act as liaison and Point of Contact for customer throughout engagement process.
Communicate and articulate prospect/customer needs to DOMA Management team.
Maintain regular customer contact with prospects and current contacts.
Enter, track and update leads and prospects for DOMA on a daily basis in DOMA?s Customer Relationship Management database (Zoho CRM)
Internal Support
Attend and report results in weekly sales meetings; attend monthly corporate Business Development meeting as scheduled.
Represent DOMA in a professional business manner in behavior, personal presentation and communications at all times.
Comply with internal and external policies and regulations.
Approximately 25-50% domestic US travel required

Qualifications
Bachelor?s degree required.
8 ? 10 years of direct Government sales experience.
Minimum of 3-5 years of direct Federal sales experience.
Current relationships within and understanding of Government agencies including a wide range of customers and partner companies
Substantial knowledge of government procurement and business development processes: identification, qualification, capture and bid activities
Experience in business and submission of winning proposals, effective federal contract negotiations, interpretation of federal contract terms and conditions, issue identification, risk mitigation, and ensuring post-win customer satisfaction
Demonstrated outstanding written and oral communications skills and ability to use all modern IT tools for customer relationship management, briefing/white paper preparation and delivery, proposal development, and executive level briefings.
Experience creating and managing budgets and spend plans across multiple pursuits.
Experience in the identification and successful capture of large single award and multiple award programs in excess of $10M is highly desirable.
Must be target driven and responsive to goals and completion dates.
Demonstrated sales record required.
Proven ability to develop and deliver presentations (samples may be required).
Proficient in Windows Office required.
Must have a valid driver?s license and personal vehicle to travel as required.
Additional Requirements
Existing relationships within the Civilian Health agencies (e.g. VA, HHS, SSA, etc.) and solid knowledge of the competitive landscape
Understanding of key contract vehicles used
Must have strong customer service / interpersonal skills.
Strong written and verbal skills in business discussion and negotiation required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
Must have dedicated work space in home or office area.
Candidates must be able to sit, read, work on a computer, and watch a computer screen for long periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation.
Frequently required to talk or hear.
Customer site work and visits also required.
