Position Summary:
The Sales Operations Coordinator is a critical liaison between Sales and Operations. The primary focus is collaborating with the Sales team to generate quotes and sales orders in a timely fashion to ensure client needs are met. Key skills include: analytic ability, excellent organization skills, customer service focus, adaptability, sense of urgency, excellent written/verbal communication, Operations / Sales acumen. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, ERP required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the designated Sales team to generate quotes and sales orders in a timely fashion.
Collaborate with Operations team to obtain relevant information on the Sales quote / order (pricing, order status, delivery status etc.)
Update ERP system (Epicor) with quote information.
Work with Sales team to update Salesforce and notify Sales team on expiring or closed opportunities.
Assist Sales team with special projects or campaigns as needed.
Develop an understanding of business lines and respective provided to clients.
Help ensure compliance with contract and regulations (Defense Acquisition, Federal Acquisition and export)
Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM and ERP
Demonstrate commitment quality, continuous improvement and success of Sales & Operations.
Handle other work related duties and projects as assigned.
Experience, Education, Certifications:
Two to four years of relevant work experience required.
Associates degree preferred, high school diploma required.
Solid understanding of Customer Service fundamentals. Government contract experience preferred.
