Staff Accountant Job Opening in Lombard, Illinois - Opportunity Description
We are seeking a highly-motivated and technical thinker to join our growing financial team. The Staff Accountant will be an integral member of our finance team. The position will be responsible for general ledger and month end responsibilities which include but not limited to preparing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations as well as assisting with internal and external financial reporting. This is a hands-on position and the ability to multitask and work with others is essential.
Essential Functions:
Prepare month-end general ledger entries
Complete balance sheet reconciliations
Research and prepare month-end variance explanations
Prepare consolidated internal/external financial statements and analysis
Assist other team members when necessary
Qualifications
Bachelor?s degree or master?s degree preferred
Three(3) to Five(5) years of experience as a General or Staff Accountant
Healthcare experience strongly preferred
