Manage accounts and solicit new business to ensure all revenue goals are achieved or exceeded. Responsible for soliciting new group sales accounts and maintaining relationships with existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals in guest rooms, food and beverage, and meeting room rental.
ESSENTIAL :
Solicit new and existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals through telephone prospecting, outside sales calls, site inspection and written communication.
Produce guest room, catering and room rental revenue through prospecting, making presentations, developing contracts, negotiating and closing sales.
Develop creative and persuasive sales proposals and presentations to prospective clients
Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to all departments in the hotel to ensure high quality of service to customers.
Conduct research, surveys, personal investigation and study the market place and territory in order to effectively capitalize on the hotel's strengths and competitor's weaknesses and capabilities.
Document client communication in CRM system, prepare booking reports and maintain customer files.
Attend trade shows, community events, industry meetings and travel as necessary
Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

Knowledge of Hotel sales techniques.
Strong and effective sales skills.
Highly developed customer service skills.
Effective business writing skills.
Communication skills to provide information and associated service to hotel management and guests.
Prefer Delphi experience along with at least 2 years of hospitality management

Opera front office experience
General office skills and Microsoft office suite
