Perform investigative work to identify, pursue, and qualify prospective buyers for products and services provided by our clients. We don't sell.
Investigative Prospectors work at our office in North-Central Cincinnati using our CRM system, working "leads" already in the system. New prospectors go through a one-week training and client orientation session. Prospectors have on-going coaching to succeed and prosper.
Wages consist of base plus a significant bonus for deliverables, typically a sales call appointment.

We have been in business since 1992. Meta performs sales prospecting services for businesses that don't have the resources or expertise to do it themselves. We have many clients in the manufacturing, technology, and management consulting sectors. Our job is to identify, qualify, and set sales call appointments for our clients. We don't close deals -- our clients do that.
We have a unique messaging approach and proprietary contacting method to get through to the most difficult prospective buyers, more than doubling traditional sales contact rates. You will learn both.
About you
We are looking for hard-working, detail-minded sales prospectors who are not intimidated talking with business managers and executives. You do not need industry-specific experience to succeed at Meta, we'll teach you what you'll need to know.
Ideally you should have business (not consumer) sales experience or equivalent. Inside prospecting or sales experience is an advantage.
You should know how to use the Internet to research organizations and discover contact names, email addresses and phone numbers using Google, Linkedin, Manta, etc.
You should know how to write professionally and type swiftly with few/no errors.
You should have transportation (we are on the Cincinnati bus line) and be available to work weekdays, roughly 8:30 am - 5:30 pm.

Applicants must:
Be fluent using a computer for performing internet searches and sending email
Have good communication skills and speak in a neutral mid-western dialect
Have good listening skills and decent note taking, typing and writing ability
Be willing to learn, follow our proven process, and respond positively to constructive feedback
