Field Sales Representative Job Opening in Brooklyn, New york - Eye on Education is a mobile on-site eye examination service that specializes in students PK-8. Our goal is to diagnose, treat blurred vision, lazy eyes & ocular disease early, in order to enhance a child's academic performance and well being. Utilizing state-of-the-art examination equipment, trendy eyewear, and an expert eye care team, we have and will continue to improve ocular health.
We are looking to grow our team with qualified candidates that have temperament and experience to cold call on individual public schools. The candidate must be able to travel, by train,bus, car, Uber, Lyft ect within NYC with presentation to public schools throughout the 5 boros and be able to interact with Parent coordinators and principals to ensure the coordinating new schools to visit and integrating exam results in the software system and confirming consent forms and the delivery of glasses to children in need of corrective lenses.
Work Full time or Part Time, compensation will be allocated based on time and successful outcomes of appointments scheduled and number of students that complete a medical authorization form. The is no cost to students or parents, a successful sale is considered when an authorization form is entered into our software system.
We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-driven Sales Representative to join our highly successful children's eye care Health sales team. This position will report directly to the District Manager and must consistently meet or exceed all sales budgets/goals on all products assigned. Territory Sales Managers are expected to possess a high level knowledge of their product, customer and territory. An average of 10 sales calls/presentations per day to schools parent coordinators, as well as principals plus sales presentations as needed. All calls must be entered into the company assigned system along with notable post call notes, sample activity, etc. Territory Sales Managers are also expected to attend all company, regional and divisional meetings. Various administrative duties such as expense reporting are also required. Must also complete all fleet safety training and must maintain an acceptable driving record regarding accidents and incidents.
BA/BS from an accredited college or university - focus in business or life science preferred.
One-two years of successful outside business to business sales experience OR college graduate with track record of achievements to include collegiate sports or student government or entrepreneurial achievements.
Consistent track record of sales accomplishments is preferred
. * Demonstrated ability to plan, analyze and act upon sales data within an assigned geography
. * Solid and persuasive business communication with school staff and providers.
Ability to work independently and exercise good business judgment and discretion and to analyze and address territory opportunities.
Valid driver?s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a complete background check.
Familiarity with a Sales Force Automation (SFA) application is preferred.
Computer Skills: proficiency in business software such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to travel approximately 75% as requested within the 5 boros of NYC. Some overnight travel may be required.
High income potential for a serious, career minded individuals, six figures within first year.
Candidates must have a stock broker mentality, be focused, money driven, extremely disciplined, self-motivated, be willing to learn and follow our system and be able to put out a high volume of calls, daily.
