Role Summary/Purpose:
Epicor is looking for a strong senior accountant with more than 5 years of increasing experience in a general accounting role. The senior accountant will be responsible for creating and reviewing complex account reconciliations and journal entries, researching and resolving issues. The successful candidate has a solid understanding of accounting and is highly dependable, attentive to detail, proactive, meticulously organized and able to work gracefully under pressure in a deadline-oriented environment.
Essential Responsibilities and Skills:
Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
Manage complex accounts that require research in multiple systems and connecting with process owners
Responsible for monthly general ledger close activities
Prepare monthly journal entries
The understanding to substantiate financial transactions and recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options
Forward thinker with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines and effectively prioritize workload based on business impact
Desire to work in a team environment
Strong analytical skill set with the ability to analyze problems and develop meaningful solutions
:
Bachelor or Master?s degree in Accounting.
Advanced knowledge of Excel
5-7 years of experience in general accounting
Experience with Large Multi-National Corporation
