Account Representative Job Opening in Austin, Texas - Job Description Burks Digital Imaging Sales Account Executive The Account Executive is responsible for prospecting new business opportunities within a geographically assigned sales territory. The primary focus of the role is to promote sales of small and wide-format (24?, 36?, 60?) digital printing equipment, laser equipment , finishing equipment, inks, media and related supplies to companies producing AEC plans, office documents, color presentation plans, business material, and other Digitally printed office needs. Selling banners, window clings, menus business cards, and all other business required marketing solutions represents a secondary focus. Duties include:
Provide account management coverage and perform business development activities at an assigned account base within a geographic sales territory as directed by Burks Digital Imaging Sales Management.
Develop relationships that are; ?High, Wide and Deep? with decision makers and key influencers at assigned accounts, and targeted prospects.
Introduce and demonstrate Burks Digital Imaging product solutions to customers that emphasize features and benefits that bring value and meet customer requirements.
Utilize advanced Sales Call Planning to ensure effective time management in providing account coverage, and in the pursuit of new business development activities.
Maintain an active and current Sales Opportunity Pipeline at assigned accounts, and targeted prospects utilizing Burks Digital Imaging Customer Relationship Management (CRM) program.
Track customer activity within Burks Digital Imaging CRM program to review customer service levels product purchase activity, and Burks Digital vendor managed inventory (SMA account) programs.
Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date records of customer contact and other demographic information within Burks Digital Imaging CRM program.
Provide timely updates to Sales Manager on new business development opportunities, and/or competitive threats at assigned account base.
Travel throughout assigned territory to call on current customers to advance business opportunities or resolve problems. When required such travel may include representatives of Vendor Partners.
Work with Sales Manager, and all other store and support center personnel to develop customer pricing, and quotations in accordance with Burks Digital Imaging customer and Vendor guidelines. Where necessary engage the Sales Manager with additional price deviation to meet competition.
Work with Burks Accounting Manager, and Burks Credit Manager to establish and communicate customer credit terms in accordance with Burks Digital Imaging Credit Policy.
Work with Burks Digital Imaging and Vendor Partner Technical Service and QC personnel to investigate, and resolve customer technical application and product performance issues.
Work with Burks Service Manager, Technical support Team and Procurement Personnel to investigate, and resolve customer service issues related to problems with deliveries, ordering, invoicing, etc.
Attend Industry Trade Shows, Sales meeting and Training session located within, and outside of geographic sales territory to support business development activities by Burks Digital Imaging and/or Vendor partners
Attend and participate in at least two networking sessions per month.
HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED
High School Diploma or GED required
Bachelor?s degree with an emphasis in Graphic Arts preferred
A willingness to learn and implement the art of Sales
