Computer Programmer/Operator Job Opening in Sulphur, Louisiana - JOB SCOPE:
Develop, support and maintain proprietary software application.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Software development work to be done in the office.
Software development utilizing Visual Studios and Crystal Reports.
Prioritize and plan work to accomplish goals.
Work closely with other developers, owner and subject matter experts to develop product.
Work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Adapt and respond positively and effectively to change, delay, and/or shifting priorities and goals.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Good problem solving skills
Good communications skills, both verbal and written.
Strong proficiency in VB (version 3.5 or later).
Proficient in MS Visual Studio (2010 or later).
Proficiency in T-SQL, Linq and MS SQL Server 2012 or later
Source control experience (TFS preferred).
BS or MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering.
BS in Computer Science, Math, Physics or Engineering
Preferred:
Experience and/or educational background in Computer Programming.
