Essential Job Functions
Motivated, persistent, with a sincere desire to help customers reach their business goals
Engages in business discussions with prospects, identifies and understand business problems, goals and objectives
Identifies client needs and opportunities where ASI solutions will improve client productivity and collaboration
Develops professional solution proposals which include products, services, implementation plans, and business justifications (ROI)
Represents Advanced Solutions in a professional manner to customers, prospects and to the business community at large
Initiates communication with team members and clients as necessary in order to ensure project success. Works with project management, engagement managers, sales lead, and other subject matter experts to deliver best-in-class outcomes for clients.
Produces project deliverables on-time and on-budget. Is willing to take the responsibility for getting Advanced Solutions invited back for repeat visits for additional services over time.
Executes solution implementation, including any task that might be necessary to complete project deliverables. Examples include software configuration, content creation, development of simulation models/studies, preparation of documentation, custom mentoring or training, etc.
FWS takes a key focus in certain technology areas and seeks to become a company and client known source for best practices and best-in-class advice. As knowledge and expertise grows; FWS is encouraged to produce blogs, video?s, speaking engagements, and publications. The FWS becomes the curator and oversight developer of the key consulting assets for these technology areas.
Writes deliverable documents including procedures guides, flow charts, and best practices guides, agendas, and follow up memos. Delivers detailed content on the best sales and post-sales processes, branded and leveraged by Advanced Solutions to be a market leader, and is able to teach others on the team to follow these processes.
Becomes a key influencer and contributor to key sales plays, designed to shorten the sales cycle and deepen the connection point with prospects and clients, propelling Advanced Solutions to become the undisputed leader in this industry for Autodesk and Autodesk related solutions.
Reacts positively to change and performs other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong organizational, time management, project management, and verbal and written communication skills
Effective interpersonal, presentation and objection handling skills
Strong business acumen, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
Initiative with strong analytical and problem solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to learn new systems
Understanding of Computer Aided Design (CAD) software and engineering solutions in the Manufacturing, and Engineering Services industries
Familiarity with both 2D and 3D design processes, the benefits of 3D design, and a working knowledge of the methods by which an organization might transition from a 2D-centric workflow to a 3D-centric workflow
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Deep knowledge of product design workflows including interdisciplinary (electrical, mechanical, etc.) and departmental (sales, purchasing, etc.) processes
Familiarity with both 2D and 3D design processes, the benefits of 3D design
Minimum Education & Work Experience
Bachelor?s Degree preferred
Proven engineering project success
Relevant technology implementation experience, such as PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), CAD / CAM / CAE, Visualization, PDM, Digital Manufacturing
