We are seeking a Systems Developer I for a W2, direct hire job in Honolulu. If you meet the following requirements, please email us your updated resume & a rough range of your annual salary expectations.
Requirements:
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server implementation, administration, querying, development, and integration with external systems (e.g. Transact-SQL, ETL, web services, etc.).
Experience with fundamental relational database design concepts and methodologies such as normalization, dimensional modeling, indexing, etc.
Experience developing web applications, web parts, and web services integrating multiple and the Microsoft Framework.
Ability to create project and user documentation using Microsoft Office. Experience with the complete software development lifecycle including: requirements analysis, design, development, stabilization, and deployment.
Experience with business intelligence data warehouse design concepts and methodologies such as dimensional modeling, scaling, ETL, OLAP, etc.
Experience developing, implementing, and supporting business intelligence solutions using Microsoft technologies (e.g. SQL Server, Reporting Services, Performance Point, SharePoint, Office, etc.)
Experience architecting, deploying, configuring, customizing, and administering Microsoft Office SharePoint Server implementations Experience developing custom Microsoft SharePoint solutions.
Experience with formal software development project management practices and methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Test-Driven Development, etc.
Organizational, analytical, and time management skills Ability to meet timelines Strong oral and written communication skills
Experience with Microsoft SQL server, Microsoft Access, other PC server systems preferred Client-server systems, and Windows 98/NT/x0 environments.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED required. Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in Information Technology, Data Processing, Computer Science, or Public/Business Administration, plus three years of increasingly responsible experience managing or supervising computer and information technology functions and operations, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Additional experience in managing or supervising computer and information technology functions and operations may be substituted for the education, with one year of experience being equal to one year of education
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Ø Works and partners directly with customers to identify opportunities to create value and make recommendations.
Ø Research and capture both known and unknown operational requirements, constraints, and opportunities.
Ø Research and analyze opportunities to improve health and quality outcomes for members, and measure progress.
Ø Research and evaluate technology solutions and engineering approaches. Make recommendations.
Ø Evaluate, model, simulate, prototype, and test alternative solutions with customers and the project team.
Ø Evaluate solutions from suppliers and vendors, and form recommendations.
Ø Analyze people and processes to design and propose new or improved solutions to operations and customers.
Ø Derive, build, and share reusable knowledge assets in both production processes and technology application.
Ø Develop, test, and implement production-ready systems and solutions to operations and customers.
Ø Can work independently or with a team in the implementation of a project following the department process.
Ø Work with the R&D Director to regularly evaluate project, staff, and department performance; and to make recommendations (both solicited and unsolicited) based on individual observation and analysis.
Ø Develop and maintain systems and project documentation.Ø Author and deliver end user training.
Ø Must comply with Company and Departmental policies and procedures.
Ø Performs other duties as assigned by the Director.
Ø Must be present in the office to perform the job functions.
Ø As an exempt position, responsibilities may require an adjusted work schedule, overtime, and non-business or weekend hours.
