Fast-paced Home Care agency is looking for a self-motivated, team player to assist in the administration of our dynamic business providing in-home non-medical care to the aging and disabled population of Eastern Connecticut.
The Assistant to the Director of Operations/Office Manager reports to the Director and is responsible for supporting all daily operations in our office headquarters. This includes the maintenance of confidential client and employee files, supervision and support of home care staff, and the guarantee of quality for all services.
Essential Functions
All H/R duties including hiring, training, discipline, Worker's Comp, payroll
Oversee scheduling
Customer care and billing
Program compliance
Qualifications:
Successful candidates for the Assistant to the Director/Office Manager role must have excellent problem solving skills necessary to handle client and employee issues and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel, both internally and externally.
Preferred: Bachelor?s degree or equivalent, preferably in a healthcare or social services discipline.
Minimum of two (2) years staff management including operational and client support.
Previous experience in a business development, or other customer-facing role a plus.
Knowledge of the Home Care industry helpful but will train the right candidate
Proven leader / action and results oriented / strategic thinker / strong oral and written communicator / creative and innovative / results-driven / expert internal and external organizational navigator / culturally aware and inclusive / decision-maker / fiscally knowledgeable / people and performance manager / problem-solver / Strong technologically and systems proficiency.
