For over 17 year, Prioricare has been providing healthcare staffing solutions to clients in nursing homes, assisted livings, hospitals, schools, and clinics in the rural Midwest. We are now looking to add a Scheduler in our Spearfish location to play a key role in the continued growth of our company.
This position is responsible to schedule traveling caregivers (RNs, LPNs, CNAs, CMAs) to meet our client needs. Process orders using top notch scheduling software. Must build relationships with caregivers and client schedulers. Communicate with positive, friendly attitude via phone (95% of day) and email. Other duties include answering caregivers questions, concerns and requests, confirming or voiding shifts, arranging first shift orientation, arranging lodging and other travel details as needed. Assist with on-call duties after hours/weekends on a rotating basis.
Our scheduler must be able to communicate effectively with internal caregivers and external customers both verbally and in writing. They must be resourceful in placing current caregivers, charismatic people person who can talk to anyone, able to work in fast paced environment, self-driven, well organized to handle multiple client needs and openings at the same time, great follow-through on tasks, creative, constantly looking for ways to improve upon things.
