Overseeing workflow and execution of staff
Developing an expert understanding of our client?s business, business plan, industry, trends and competitive landscape
Developing strategic and tactical program recommendations for all client accounts
Providing counsel to clients ? on-going and when faced with good news or unexpected challenges
Promoting the importance of research and measurement infused with creativity and aimed at furthering the client?s business goals; identifying research needs
Ensuring the strategic value and highest quality of all client deliverables
Communicating ? both verbally and written ? regarding strategic client documents and discussions
Leading all aspects of strategic media relations planning and execution; leveraging existing relationships with reporters and outlets on behalf of client and agency
Creating and presenting strategic media relations plans, oversee strategy development for issues and know when to engage media specialists
Developing proposals and managing budgets for existing clients; ensuring timelines are met and SOWs are accurate and turned-around in a timely manner
Measuring and reporting PR metrics/results to clients based on brand direction
Writing and presenting strategic, long-term PR plans and taking on new business leads and initiatives; enhancing SOWs for existing business
Developing team members and defining career paths and performance expectations; seeking opportunities to recruit talented people to join the team
Contributing to agency growth and direction as part of management team
Sets the tone to create a spirit of teamwork, enthusiasm and high quality
