Residential Counselors to work with adolescents! Job Opening in los angeles, California - Residential Counselors to work with adolescents! The Help Group is searching for dynamic and motivated Residential Counselors to work for our therapeutic group home program serving adolescents with emotional and behavioral disabilities. Looking for full time and relief (part time) staff! Full time positions available: A shift ( Sun-Wed 46hrs a week ) and B shift ( Wed-Sat; 50hrs a week) time/Relief positions: Relief staff schedule varies, but strong need for people available nights and weekends. Duties include, but not limited to: - Conduct individual and group activities designed to assist residents in achieving their goals. - Assist residents in developing social, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. - Monitor residents' ongoing needs; communicate with other agency personnel to ensure that these needs are met. - Ensure a safe, clean environment supervising as well as physically participating in all home maintenance activities. Requirements: - MUST have experience with adolescents, preferably in a residential setting. - BA required!! - Valid California driver license and good driving record required!!
