Qualifications � Motivated, professional, reliable, creative and caring individual � Positive attitude � Flexibility with time/schedule � Willingness to learn and expand upon existing skills � Willingness to be a Team player � Valid CA license, daily access to a reliable vehicle, and proof of current automobile insurance � Completed Live Scan with clearance � TB clearance � Completed master's degree in a related field � Available to commute to different locations to provide services � Has at least 2.0 years of experience in early intervention, � Works independently with little direction � Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred � Communicates effectively in English (oral and written) � Able to operate computer � Able to lift and carry objects/consumer up to 50 lbs; able to provide physical support as needed to consumers up to 100 lbs. � Ability to kneel, bend, push, pull, sit for extended periods of time (at least one hour) Duties and Responsibilities * Provides collaborative support and supervision to Early Interventionist * Monitors clients (infants and toddlers from 0-3 years) program and progress * Supports and assists in all duties performed by the Program Manager * Assesses new consumers/clients * Oversees early intervention implementation in consumer�s home, or community under the direction of the Program Manager, * Collaborates with other team members on consumer�s program and implements changes and revisions to the consumer�s program as necessary, � Collects, records, and summarizes data on target behaviors, � Conduct assessment of new consumers/clients * Monitors client notebook, maintains data of client's progress. � Maintains consistent communication with Supervisor regarding assigned cases. * Writes concise progress reports, assessment reports and submits paperwork by assigned due date. � Trains new team members and familiarize them with CARE�s format in early interventions. � Attends and participates in CARE team meetings. � Collaborates with parents and other personnel working with the client. * Provides parent education and supports parental involvement and participation during sessions and collaborates. � Creates stimuli/materials for program. * Oversees early intervention implementation in consumer�s home, or community, * Collaborates with other team members on consumer�s program and implements changes and revisions to the consumer�s program as necessary, * Creates progress reports, * Attends IEP�s, IFSP and IPP�s as necessary, * Monitors the performance of interventionists on assigned cases, * Coordinates, leads and attends clinic meetings, � Leads the infant/toddlers program using evidence based practices of special education, child development, applied behavior analysis, etc. Hourly rate: competitive hourly rate, depending on experience Comprehensive Benefits Package available for 30 hours per wk (Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Group Term Life Insurance, Voluntary Life Program for Employees and Dependents, Short Term Disability Coverage, Long Term Disability, Employee Assistance Program, 401K, FSA, Travel Accident Coverage, and paid holidays) Reimbursement for drive time and mileage Send resume and cover letter and indicate position you are applying for in the subject of the email to: los angeles ca california
