Responsibilities for Controller / Director of Finance ? Financial Management
The Controller / Director of Finance responsible for planning, organizing, and influencing department activities and assuring financial records are maintained following generally accepted accounting standards.
Controller / Director of Finance has oversight of the finance department including the General Ledger, Payroll, Accounts Payable and the Decision Support staff
The Controller / Director of Finance also interacts with all Hospital departments ensuring proper utilization and accounting of Hospital capital and operating resources

Bachelor degree in Accounting / Finance or closely related field.
MBA preferred
Certifications
Current CPA preferred
Experience
Extensive knowledge of Health Care Accounting practices and principles.
Five Years of Healthcare Financial Management Experience preferred
Healthcare experience required, hospital experience preferred
