In a typical Synergy Healthcare clinic, employees are allowed to come to the clinic for a wide varity of health based issues without clocking out and free of charge. With a clinical ratio of 2-3 patients per hour, the provider is able to treat the patient?s health care needs as well as having time to communicate with the patient about their overall wellness. The provider does not seek to become the primary health care provider for the employee, instead focusing on wellness as strongly as on disease treatment. He or she functions with a supervising physicians support under a collaborative practice agreement in order to provide safe, legal and effective care. The skill set for these positions include the ability to:
Communicate and educate patients on a wide variety of health related issues ? both acute, episodic conditions as well as chronic disease management.
Make safe, effective independent medical/clinical decisions
Practice autonomously, consistently drawing venous based /blood lab samples.
Interpret lab results and communicate those results to the patients.
Self manage scheduling and charting in EMR of appointments for clinical population.
Consistently meet the providers clinical schedule obligations.
Synergy offers competitive salary for this position and includes clinical education reimbursements and malpractice coverage. The Anacortes, WA clinic is scheduled to be open 10 hours per week and there is flexibility as to the actual days/hours. All interested candidates must have a current, active license to practice in the state of Washington.
