Trust Associate Job Opening in Seattle, Washington - Ohana Fiduciary Corp is looking for candidates to fill a vacancy in one of our guardianship/trust financial manager positions. We provide financial and healthcare management services for clients who require such assistance normally through guardianships, trusts, and power of attorney relationships.
This is a financial management position. Job duties include: serving as primary contact person for specific caseload of clients; interpreting legal documents to understand our duties and responsibilities; marshaling assets; developing budget and investment plan; reviewing client bank and brokerage statements; paying client bills; managing communications with clients and related parties; tracking activity in time-keeping program, preparing annual accountings and court reports; coordinating services for client; and coordination with care manager and property is a full-time position. Salary range is $45k to $60k depending on experience. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, Health Savings Account, and retirement qualifications for the type of person we are seeking include:
Bachelor's degree required
Basic understanding of accounting and finance concepts required
Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office products required, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook
Certified Professional Guardian certification ideal but not required. If you are a CPG, Ohana will maintain your certification.
Some experience with guardianships or trusts preferred, whether personal or professional

Strong teamwork skills, including ability to effectively communicate and coordinate on tasks;
Ability to organize a large volume of work and handle multiple tasks;

Honesty and integrity, with the ability to maintain focus on vulnerable clients' well-being above all else.
