Position Summary The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for all sales activities in the Wisconsin territory including marketing, training, merchandising, distributor support and end user development. The TSM is responsible for achieving overall goals which include sales quotas, profits, increase in customer and end user base, and support of existing customers.
This position requires high product application knowledge to effectively demonstrate the advantages of Metabo?s product line to our target contractors and industrial users within the market. Training distributor salespeople and end users on how to use power tools more safely and to improve productivity is critical.
Responsibilities include:
· Sales of Metabo product line including tools and accessories
· Achieve sales goals based on company and local market goals
· Establish and develop key relationships with distributor partners by supporting all aspect of their business
· Provide support to end-users through product demonstrations, educational and safety seminars
· Managing all budgets within reason
· Travel as necessary (15-30%)
Employee Requirements:
· College degree in or related field required
· 4-6 years? experience in Sales and/or Marketing in the contractor or industrial supply industries required
· Ability to sell to multiple levels from End User to plant manager, to distributor salesperson, to distributor principal/owner
Demonstrated competence with use of computers, MS Office products and CRM systems
Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
Strong Organizational skills including the ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Self-motivated with high energy.
Proven record of accomplishments ? ability to drive growth in a team environment
Strong Ability and desire to build relationships
Physical Ability to travel daily
Valid Driver's License
Includes Salary & Bonus, Commensurate with experience & skillset
