C# .Net Lead Job Opening in Westport, Connecticut - Development Team Lead/Solution Architect, C# stack
We currently have an opening in Westport, CT for a C# Development Team Lead/Solution Architect who is willing to participate in the development of a multi-modular multi-asset classes state-of-the-art Trading System.
Requirements:
Must-have skills:
o Soft-skills:
3+ years of experience leading a team of 6-10 people including off-shore teams
5+ years of experience in Waterfall and Scrum methodologies
Excellent understanding of Software Development Lifecycle and Software Engineering Process.
o Technical skills:
Modern Full Stack /C# development: Front to back development
Practical knowledge of design patterns
5+ years of experience of solution architecture development
Strong knowledge of SQL (T-SQL)
Deep understanding of communication protocols, standards, technologies (SOAP, REST, WCF)
Deep knowledge in experience WCF and WinForms/WPF;
Good English communication skills (reading, writing and speaking)
Demonstrate high standards and ability to write beautiful code
Demonstrate project ownership, not just participation
Open-minded, appreciate direct feedback, and revel in intellectually rigorous environments
Nice-to-have skills:
Knowledge of capital markets, structure of exchanges, regulatory framework, Order Management & Execution Management Systems, Trade workflow
Experience in development of Trade & Order systems (Order, Trade, Execution, Reconciliation)
Experience with Charles River, Tradeweb and other similar vendor systems
Multi assets (Fixed income, derivatives, swaps, IRS, CDS/X, TRS/X, FX, Futures)
o FIX, FIXML
Responsibilities:
Owns solution architecture and implementation details,
Responsible for requirements estimation and breakdown into technical tasks,
Responsible for monitoring technical excellence and enforcing technical practices
