WHAT will I do in this role?
Manage flooring and surfacing projects within the commercial system and process.
Pursue project information from any and all sources that help complete the details relative to any given project.
Continually learn about the industry, products and manufacturers in order to better Marketing and Sales.
Utilize knowledge of database systems to manage related data and provide custom reports for different positons within our sales team in order to better track projects from inception to completion.
Enter and update information relative to new and existing projects.
Communicate effectively and be able to work independently to support Regional Sales Managers. Utilize technology and organizational tools to fulfill analysis and task coordination requests.
Continually learn about the industry, products and manufacturers in order to better understand the support you can provide to the Sales Management group.
Utilize advanced Excel and database skills to supplement existing systems for your personal work organization and potential to others
Participate in all other relevant sales coordination activities as determined by the VP
WHAT skills do I need to have to be successful in this role?
Associates or Bachelor?s degree in business or related field
3-4 years of practical project management experience ? no PMP certification required
Previous experience with or knowledge about the commercial specification process
Willingness and work ethic to take initiative and responsibility for outcomes
Sound business judgment with effective reasoning and problem solving skills
Excellent organization and follow-up skills
Advanced MS Office, analytics and database skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks
Experience using a system to coordinate projects

The Sales Project Coordinator compensation package includes base salary of $39-$44k depending on experience. Jaeckle Distributors also offers competitive benefits including PTO, health and dental insurance as well as a 401k plan.
